Preet Pannu

Preet Pannu is an Associate Lawyer at Drake Law practising family law, with over a decade of experience representing clients across Peel Region and the surrounding areas. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo, completed her LL.B. at the University of Nottingham, and pursued further legal studies at the University of New Brunswick, before being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2014. Her practice focuses on separation and divorce, parenting disputes, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts.

Earlier in her career, Preet co-founded and operated her own law firm in Mississauga, where she practised for eight years, representing clients in family, civil, criminal, and real estate matters. She currently serves as Duty Counsel at courthouses across Ontario, providing legal advice and in-court assistance to individuals navigating the justice system.

In addition to her private practice, Preet has experience in the legal technology sector, where she has worked with artificial intelligence and other emerging tools to help improve how legal services are delivered. She is also actively involved in legal education, teaching and mentoring future legal assistants, law clerks, and paralegals at colleges across Ontario.
