Thomas A. Bates is a well-respected solicitor who has dedicated over fifty years to serving the London and Middlesex region. A proud Western University alumnus (BA '65, LLB '68), Tom has always been a pioneer in the local legal scene, championing the idea that expert legal counsel should be accessible where people actually live and work. His commitment to the London region extends far beyond the office; he has served on the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Society of London and Bethany’s Hope Foundation, and currently serves as Vice President of his neighbourhood community council.
When he isn’t providing Senior Counsel at Drake Law, Tom embraces a life full of activity and culture. You might find him in his rowing scull at the cottage, practicing ballroom dancing with his beautiful wife, or indulging his love for all things “Italy” and “Paris.” Above all, Tom cherishes time spent with his family, bringing that same sense of warmth and dedication to every client he represents across the region.
